  1. Hi again Karla.

Activity 1 - Well done with this activity relating to houses then and now, You seem to know alot about materials used in houses? Where did you find out this information.
I think the houses used to be built by the men of the village and now we have professional builders who build houses for us.

Activity 2 - I think being an athlete would be a great career to have. You would have to work really hard to be the best! It looks like you want to be a professional sprinter? Is that right? You would be able to compete in the Olympics and commonwealth games. How exciting.

Look forward to you replying to my comments and seeing more of your incredible work.

  2. Hey Karla,

Well done on identifying some similarities and differences between a wharepuni and your home. You have shared materials used to build both structures, thank you for being diligent about finding more information to add to your comparisons. Maybe next time you could add pictures of a wharepuni as well as your house so readers can compare the two for themselves.

I like your picture of your dream job because it shows where you want to be as an athlete in the future. From your picture I am imagining that you are a sprinter at Olympics, would I be right? Had you thought about any other information you could add about your dream job?

When I was young I wanted to be a teacher and now I am, it was a lot of hard work getting here but I managed in the end. Have you thought about how you will achieve your dream job?

Another lovely post, keep up the good work!

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.
